Thanks to you, I have the honor of serving and advocating for communities across Knox County as your At-Large Commissioner.
I have connected with citizens in every corner of our county by facilitating relationships, helping communities understand local government processes and capabilities, and assisting communities to advance their initiatives and bring awareness to their needs and visions.
That is why I ran for Commission and that is why I am now running for County Mayor – I am invested in the people and the communities that make Knox County great and I care deeply how decisions at the local level impact our families and our communities.
I have worked with citizens, government officials, and community partners to help improve roadways, analyze budget allocations, coordinate infrastructure improvements with growth and development, update county plans, studies and ordinances, ensure comprehensive countywide emergency services, support our teachers and law enforcement professionals, build new and update existing schools, create recreational and public spaces, improve policy and process, facilitate private and public relationships, empower our youth, consider land conservation concepts, support our agriculture community, be a resource and sounding board, and give everyone a seat at the table.
I have always put Community First.
The hard-working people of Knox County have asked more of me, and I am ready to get to work for YOU as your next Knox County Mayor.
I would be honored if you would join me in my efforts.

Kim is proven, accessible, and has made a difference in our communities and within the processes of Knox County government as a citizen! She is a common-sense conservative who understands the structure and culture of local government, the commitment required to be an effective Commissioner, and can get to work for you on day one.
